Hurrey-UP Stage & FilmWorks presents traditional West African dance concerts, lecture demonstrations, school programs, and workshops through its dance component, Bafoulabe African dance company. The company’s mission is to educate the community about African culture through the high-spirited entertainment of the traditional dance and music of the people. The company's diverse repertoire encompasses dance styles from Guinea, Ghana, Mali, and South Africa. Bafoulabe communicates its message of diversity, and cultural understanding through the universality of music and movement.
